These keyboard shortcuts will help you make stories quicker!

Tappable is embracing the keyboard shortcuts. πŸ’›

So let's keep them rolling:

Deleting

You guessed it, it's backspace. The backspace shortcut allows you to delete the following:

  • Select and Delete the layer

  • Select and Delete the page

  • Select the last page and Delete your draft

Copying

Depending on your machine it's either ctrl or cmd. Copying is just as easy as cmd+C. You can copy the following components.

  • Layers

  • Pages

You're now capable of copying layers and pages across stories.

Pasting

Depending on your machine it's either ctrl or cmd. Copying is just as easy as cmd+V. You can paste the following components.

  • Layers

  • Pages

You're now capable of copying layers and pages across stories.

Undoing

The life saviour is here. Depending on your machine it's either ctrl or cmd. To undo an action you can cmd+Z to go back one action. You can go back as often as you like within the same session.

Creating layers

We have worked hard to make stories as efficient as possible. With these keyboard shortcuts you can create new layers quickly. By using the following letters you will be able to create new layers:

  • Create an image layer with "I"

  • Create a video layer with "V"

  • Create a text layer with "T"

  • Create a rectangle with "R"

Moving layers up and down

Just like you design softwares you can move your layer up and down. By using the following keys you will be able to:

  • "[" move the layer down

  • "]" move the layer up
