We have built a feature that allows you to personalize your experience. All in the name of optimisation and performance. We've made it very easy for you to add. Just add it after the link of your story.

These are the 3 parameters we now allow you to add to your URL.

  • You can redirect to a alternative experience for desktop

  • You can skip several slides

  • You can remove our desktop experience and get the native AMP Experience

Let's see how you can apply this easily!

Redirect to a preferred desktop experience

We know that the story format is perfect for Mobile but we do understand that it might not be the most performant for a desktop experience.

Want to redirect to your desktop landing page?

Just add ?redirect=yourwebsite.com at the end of your Story URL and you're all set. You can also add UTM tags to the redirect. πŸ˜‰

Check it out for yourself πŸ‘€ (from a desktop)

Let's skip some slides πŸ˜‰

Let's say you don't want to show certain slide to a certain people. Or avoid showing ads or call to actions. We'll that's also possible.

Want to skip certain slides?

  1. First let's find the IDs of the pages you want to skip.

  2. Write down the codes of the slides you want to skip

  3. Add them as a URL parameter. Like this ?skip=h1eq,fngi

So where do I find the 4 letter codes?

  • Go in your story, select the slide you would like to hide. Click on the 3 dots in the right hand corner.

  • Right under "delete you will find the "Page ID"

  • Copy the Page IDs that you want to skip. ⚠️It is case sensitive

  • Put a "," in between the Page ID you would like to skip.

Check it out for yourself πŸ‘€ . With this test we will skip the starters from the menu.

Get the native AMP Experience

We you can setup your desktop experience in the Story Settings but I you'd really like you can remove the desktop experience we've created or redirect for Desktop users.

But our Desktop experience is tested and proved to perform really well.

Want to remove our desktop experience?

It's pretty easy add ?story at the end of your Story URL and you're all set!

Check it out for yourself πŸ‘€ (from a desktop)

You can also combine all the parameters!!
