This grid is 36 squares wide and 60 height. 36x60. And this is the basis of all your Web Stories.

We wanted to create a hybrid canvas design approach and grid system. The grid system allows you to build quickly and at the same time be precise. The grid helps you to work with halves, thirds and quarters. No more worrying if it is a pixel too low or too high. It will always be correct.

Why did we choose this aspect ratio? Why haven't we used 9:16?

Pretty simple, currently AMP Stories still show the URL bar when you open an AMP Story in a mobile browser.

Further, it can 36 can be divided by 2, 3, 4, 6 and 12. On the other hand, 60 can be divided by 2,3 and 4.
